We are strictly Non-smoking. Motorcycling We are motorcycle friendly and can offer safe parking and advice on local routes. There are some great motorcycling roads and unique events like the classic scramble at Thornhill that make Dumfries a must for all types of biker. Knockhill Racetrack and Croft Circuit are only 1 1/2 hours from Dumfries (about 85 miles) so it's a good stepping stone for the BSB, club racing or track days.
